I ate shit on my bicycle on the 4th of July at a firworks thingie when I was cranking through some slow traffic and tore the rear end of my bike apart. I have a spare frame, but it still sucked.

I'm craving surf (duh!).

Needless to say, it was fun. Shorebreak, outside, middle break... it was ALL good.

Now also... I quit my job! Today was my last day, so I... Called in sick. Fuck 'em. I've been saying for umpteen years if there was surf I'd call in sick, and today- after I already told me previous employer to NOT ROUTE ME, the tards routed me anyway.

It was nice... Sunny, not too hot. The water was cool, the surf was rideable (3-4 feet), and I got half-drunk coming home on Sambuca at a restaurant. All in all, a good 'last day at work'.

Anyway, I moved the bird-nest sitting atop the beam my heavy bag swings from about 6 feet over; momma bird was bitching to me the whole time, but the chirplets just peeped at me, nonstop. Once I finished, Mom-bird yelled at me some and then promptly ignored me. Go figure.

So it rained it's ass off today, as in streets flooded, mini-maelstrom at the storm drain, and five, yes FIVE cars stalled out in the flood in front of my house. Woulda taken some pix but the camera was recharging (and some know just how good a picture that phone takes, eh?)

About life: Life sux. But ya know what, it sure beats pushing daisies and playing jungle-jim to worms and bugs. right?

I'll be headed down south on Sunday, hopefully. Frisco Pier, but maybe won't have to go that far.

So I need a new chain for my bike. Fuck it. I'll be using it till it breaks and tosses my sorry ass in front of traffic (with luck!).


Enough with negativity! I transferred a shitload of Trance and Metal to my MP3 player so I can ride tomorrow as soon as I get home from work. Don't know how far, or where, but I'm going riding.


I was digging through my top desk drawer and found a $100 gift card to B&N; after checking online I found the card was unused. Talk about a good find! And, as some of my favorite authors have fiction out...

Work sucked my ass per usual. What the fuck is up with asshats asking for Morning Service and NOT BEING HOME!


C'est la vie...



So anyway, I went on a good bike ride last night, in the rain, about 25 miles... I need a better bike chain cuz my BRAND NEW ONE wasn't up to the task. It stretched over 1/2cm



The work-front might be clearing up- another company called my personal phone asking for an interview. Needless to say, I'm stoked.
